The Dragon Apprentice Programme is one of the Education Bureau’s Business-School Partnership Programme, in 16 years the programme has benefitted more than 2300 people.
This year, the theme for Dragon Apprentice is “Enlighten Your Future”; echoing our hope that students can escape the confines of traditional thinking, break through their limits, unleash their potential and light their way into their future.
“Enlighten Your Future” is a career-and-life-planning programme where secondary school students can learn practical skills outside the classroom through a series of events. The opening ceremony on 20th July will consist of workshops about handling personal finances, public speaking, and social etiquette. In addition, professionals from 4 different sectors (engineering and surveying, law, finance and technology, and medicine) will share inspiring stories about their career path and personal experiences. On 27th July, the elevator pitch competition will take place, where winning students will be grouped into the 4 categories. The winning students will participate in different mentorship and job shadowing programmes with professionals in the field from mid July to August. At last, a graduation ceremony will be held and more honourable guests will be joining to share their stories.
