2008年8月30日四川攀枝花市發生6.1級地震，馬鞍橋村受災嚴重，有見及此，無止橋慈善基金與國家住房和城鄉建設部合作，開展了長達三年的「馬鞍橋村災後重建示範項目」。
項目內容
• 為村內困難戶建設了一批堅固實用、造價低廉的夯土農宅；
• 修建村活動中心兼抗震夯土建築示範中心；
• 組織當地工匠和村民共同參與，實地培訓村民重建抗震夯土農宅的技術；
• 修建便橋，改善交通；
• 改善社區衛生設備，包括建設生態廁所和供水系統；
• 進行家訪，評估村民的身心狀況，並向村民講解災難準備及公共衛生的知識。
An earthquake of Ritcher Scale 6.1 occurred in the city of Panzhihua in Sichuan on 30th August 2008. In view of this, Wu Zhi Qiao Charitable Founda
tion, together with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Team, carried out a 3-year reconstruction project on Ma’anqiao Village. Project introduction
• Building a number of farmhouses using low cost rammed earth as raw material
• Building an earthquake-resistant activity centre with rammed earth
• Organizing workshops to teach villagers the technology of using rammed earth to build farmhouses
• Building a bridge to ease traffic
• Improving community health facilities, including the construction of ecological toilets and water supply systems
• Paying home visits to villagers to assess their post-traumatic physical and mental condition and conveying knowledge on earthquake damage control and personal health.
