Scarce是一個非牟利的學生團體，主要目的是喚醒大家對環保的意識。
「Scarce」的意思是：不足的、罕有的、珍貴的。我們以此為名，希望令大家明白，我們所擁有的物品，都有一定的價值和用處；而大部分的資源，根本不足以應付所有人的需求。
我們將透過不同的活動，提倡「通過交換‧循環再用」的概念，即各人把自己已用不着但仍有其用處的物品，與別人交換；如已讀過的小說、再也穿不下的衣服和不再合襯的家具等。讓大家能把這些物品「循環再用」；從而達至減少浪費，以及善用資源的效果。
Scarce is a non-profit making student organization, which aims at arousing the public’s environmental awareness. Through naming the organization with the word “s
carce”, we would like to remind the public that, everything we own has its value and function, and that a lot of resources do not have enough quantity to satisfy everyone’s wants. Through organizing different activities, we would like to propose the idea of “Re-use through Exchanging”. It means that people can exchange items that they do not need anymore with each other, in order to obtain “new items” that they need. Such as novels that have already been read, or clothes that don’t fit anymore. These items are still useful and are able to satisfy another person’s wants; through exchanging them with each other, we can reduce resources wastage, and also make efficient use of resources.
