🎭 Relive the moments of Brilliant World Stars Series 2026!

Acclaimed K-Arts faculty members Kangho Lee (cello) and Young-Uk Kim (violin) brought profound artistry to the stage, performing alongside our international competition winner alumnus Wong Sze Yuen (piano) and our brilliant HKGNA Young Virtuosi in a performance that truly took our breath away!

Our amazing young Hong Kong artists truly shone throughout the program. Pianist Valerie Wong Wai Yuen mesmerized the audience with her compelling interpretation of the World Premiere of “Overmorrow”,
a delightful work by talented, Hong Kong-raised young composer Leiph (Dominic) Hilton that left everyone wanting more! She also joined fellow 1st prize winners Chloe Chan and Evan Wong (violins) for a beautiful ensemble performance.

What a spectacular evening for the Brilliant World Stars Series! ✨🎻

It was a profound privilege to witness the soul-stirring artistry of K-Arts faculty masters, cellist Kangho Lee and violinist Young-Uk Kim. Beyond their world-class performances, we were deeply moved by the grace and generosity they showed in offering such incredible guidance to our HKGNA Young Virtuosi. Your mastery and mentorship have truly inspired all of us. It was an honor to share the stage with you and our rising stars from Hong Kong.

Our incredible young artists truly shone throughout the evening. In the first half, pianist Wong Sze Yuen performed with remarkable poise alongside the two masters, while pianist Valerie Wong Wai Yuen, together with violinists Chloe Chan and Evan Wong, delivered a deeply captivating performance. We were also thrilled to present the world premiere of Leiph (Dominic) Hilton’s Overmorrow, in which Valerie further dazzled the audience with her compelling interpretation. We are immensely proud to see our amazing competition winners taking their place on stage.

To conclude the evening, our HKGNA Young Virtuosi shone brighter than ever, reaching breathtaking new heights under the leadership of Kangho Lee and Young-Uk Kim. A special thank you to Coach Brian Choi for his dedicated teaching and wonderful guidance in preparing our young artists for this unforgettable concert. 🎶

The HKGNA Chamber Ensemble was privileged to be part of ”Dreamscape,“ the spectacular opening celebration of the Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2026, presented by the LCSD, at the East Kowloon Cultural Centre. In the evenings marked by artistic transcendence, our ensemble sought to illuminate the vibrant, contemporary heartbeat of Canto-pop through the lens of chamber excellence.

The stage served as a profound testament to the power of artistic synergy, as our musicians performed alongside a distinguished roster of guest artists:
