「香港護士協會」，簡稱「護協」，成立於1977年，前身是「政府護理員協會」，曾於1990年易名為「香港護理員協會」，至2007年再易名為「香港護士協會」。「護協」是一個由員工自發組成，並依據香港政府職工會條例所註冊的護士工會，獨立於任何機構。時至今日，已發展為全港最大的護士工會，擁有會員約23,000名。

本會的會員來自不同的護理職級，包括登記護士、註冊護士、護士學生、注射員、衛生輔助員和助產士等，受僱於不同機構如醫院管理局、衛生署、社會福利署、私家醫院和自願團體等。
