The SOGO-sponsored 2026 Winter UK Exchange Programme has successfully concluded!
The scholarship recipients spent two weeks in the UK participating in a meaningful exchange programme. During their stay, they made friends with many local students, built cross-cultural friendships, and gained a deeper understanding of the differences between Hong Kong and British learning cultures and lifestyles.
Unlike typical study tours, this programme allowed students to fully immerse themselves in local school life. They attended classes, studied, and solved academic challenges together with British students. After school, they chatted in the dormitories and shared insights about life in their respective countries. Many students who rarely spoke English in Hong Kong gradually became more confident and proactive in using English during their 14 days in the UK.
Additionally, on 8 March, the students shared their 14-day exchange experiences at a public SOGO event, bringing their unforgettable journey to a perfect close.
This is not the end — it marks a new beginning in their English learning journey!
由 SOGO 冠名贊助的「2026 年冬季英國交流團」已正式圓滿結束！
今次獲得獎學金的同學們，在英國進行了為期兩個星期的深度交流活動。他們不僅認識了不少當地學生，建立起珍貴的跨國友誼，更深刻體會到兩地學習文化與生活方式的差異。
有別於一般遊學團，是次交流讓學員真正融入當地校園生活。他們與英國學生一同上課、一同學習、一同解決學習上的難題；放學後更在宿舍內互相傾談，分享兩地生活的不同。原本在香港較少使用英語溝通的同學，在英國的14天裡，也逐漸主動開口說英語，勇敢踏出舒適圈。
此外，交流結束後，同學們更於3月8日在 SOGO 舉辦的公開活動上，分享他們這14天的寶貴體驗，為今次英國之旅畫上完美的句號。
這不是結束，而是他們英語學習旅程的新開始！
