First Initiative Foundation FIF was established by Chairman, Michelle Ong, for the purpose of uplifting Hong Kong through community forward and proactive initiatives.

First Initiative Foundation (FIF) is a not-for-profit organisation, founded by Chairman Michelle Ong and based in Central, Hong Kong. Since our founding in 2011, we have created and invested in creative opportunities for generations to come. FIF is proud to uplift and promote Hong Kong as a cultural hub of activity on the world stage with diverse initiatives. We are able to make a difference with

the help of our remarkable patrons, members and artists in support, bringing the best of Hong Kong’s philanthropists and talents together. FIF began with a pledge of commitment, contribution and care. We are committed to bringing internationally renowned artists and musicians to Hong Kong to benefit our community with exciting cultural experiences. We contribute to performances, exhibitions and educational outreach, by organising diverse fundraisers that promote Hong Kong. We care for young talent in Hong Kong, with mentorships and scholarships in Hong Kong’s best universities.

Our latest documentary film “Hands, Hearts & Heritage: Crafting into the Future” captures the magic of our amazing Paper Poems fundraising gala at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong.
