Guest at Mondrian Hong Kong: Lili Brune Jullian Lili

For Paris-based designer and artist Lili Brune Jullian, fashion is a space for imagination, experimentation and rethinking what we already have.

Through Maison Lili Brune, her fashion and teddy bear atelier dedicated to circular design, Lili explores the adventures of love through gender-neutral fashion, upcycling and textile experimentation. Her work draws inspiration from ecofeminism, surrealism and rococo aesthetics, bringing together playful forms, unexpected materials and a sense of romanticism.

A strong advocate for giving materials a second life, Lili creates her signature teddy bears from production offcuts, transforming leftover textiles into distinctive characters and making them an integral part of the atelier’s zero-waste approach.

Lili joined us at Mondrian Hong Kong during the Redress CENTRESTAGE Showcase. Her presence in Hong Kong brought together fashion, creativity and circular design, reflecting the spirit of creative exchange that continues to connect Mondrian with artists, designers and makers from around the world.

對來自巴黎的設計師及藝術家 Lili Brune Jullian 而言，時裝是一個讓想像與實驗發生的空間，亦是重新發掘現有事物更多可能的方式。

Lili 創立的 Maison Lili Brune 是一間以循環設計為核心的時裝及泰迪熊工作室，透過中性時尚、升級再造及紡織實驗，探索愛的不同面貌。她的創作從生態女性主義、超現實主義及洛可可美學汲取靈感，將玩味十足的造型、意想不到的材質與浪漫氣息融入作品之中。

讓物料重新擁有生命，是 Lili 創作理念的重要一環。她將製作過程中剩餘的邊角布料，化成 Maison Lili Brune 標誌性的泰迪熊，讓原本被剩下的布料成為一個個獨特的角色，亦是品牌零廢棄方針的重要一環。

Lili 早前來到香港參與 CENTRESTAGE Showcase，分享她對時裝、物料與循環設計的獨特見解。她的到訪，亦延續了 Mondrian 與世界各地藝術家、設計師及創作者之間的交流，從不同視角出發，探索創意與設計的更多可能。

🏆🧶 Get to know the Redress Design Award 2026 Winner: Jon Liesenfeld 🌟

Jon’s sustainable designs won the hearts of our judging panel of industry experts, who admired his dedication to craftsmanship and noted the versatility of his technique for upcycling waste textiles. ⚡️❤️‍🩹

His winning collection, ‘The youth lacks its master’, fuses flawed leather with deadstock jersey, and upcycles from various waste streams, including a look made from a 15-year-old leather family couch, car leather upcycled into a coat, and deadstock sweat fabric turned into trousers. 🛋️♻️🧥

❣️🧶🌟 Redress Design Award 2026 DHL GoGreen Plus Alumni Prize Winner 🌟🧶❣️

Congratulations to Carla Zhang on the win! 🏆 The DHL prize challenged Redress Alumni to upcycle unused DHL uniforms into a corporate gift, accessory, or fashion piece to extend the life of the garments. The winning designer receives HK$30,000 (US$3,800) in shipping credits to support the development of her brand, LE NGOK. 🐕

🥈🇭🇰🌟 Redress Design Award 2026 Runner-up and Hong Kong Best 🌟🇭🇰🥈

Congratulations to Jasmine Cheuk! 🩶 As the runner-up, the designer from Hong Kong will receive a tailored mentorship with Orsola de Castro, our competition judge, fashion activist, and author, setting her up for success in the competitive fashion market.

And as the top-scoring Hong Kong designer, Jasmine also wins a two-month access to the Designerooms co-working space and a digital copy of Bloomsbury Publishing's 'Zero Waste Fashion Design' by Timo Rissanen and Holly McQuillan. 🇭🇰🧶
