【低碳生活義工體驗日👩🏽🌾👨🏽🌾】
7 月中旬，我們與工銀亞洲慈善基金於青協賽馬會有機農莊 青協賽馬會有機農莊 舉辦了一場親子義工活動，吸引了 ICBC (Asia) ONE ICBC 公益服務團約 50 位親子參加🙌。
雖然活動當日氣溫高達 30 多度，但炎炎夏日亦無阻大家熱情🌞！親子義工跟隨導賞員體驗農夫日常，幫忙拔除雜草、分擔農務，也學習了智慧低碳農耕科技，即時監控耕地溫度和濕度，為農作物提供更貼心的保護，紓緩氣候變化帶來的挑戰。辛勞過後，大家享用以新鮮有機韭菜及本地豬肉親手製作的餃子，義工們都讚不絕口，為活動劃上完美句號 👏！
隨着氣候變化，全球農業受極端天氣影響收成，大家都在為可持續發展努力。農莊體驗讓青年更切身體會氣候變化，啟發他們建立減碳生活，一同守護地球。期待更多青年參與，改變生活習慣，攜手創建可持續宜居的未來 🌍！
In mid-July, the Sustainability Unit along with ICBC (Asia) Charitable Foundation enjoyed a family day event at the HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm, attracting about 50 youth and family participants from ONE ICBC Social Service Team 🙌
Despite the temperature soaring above 30°C on the event day, the summer heat couldn't dampen anyone’s enthusiasm 🌞! Participants followed our expert guide to experience a farmer’s daily routine, helped with weeding, taking part in ordinary farm tasks. They also learned about smart, low-carbon farming technology, which enables real-time monitoring of soil temperature and humidity to better protect crops and tackle the challenges brought by climate change. After the hard work, everyone enjoyed handmade dumplings stuffed with freshly harvested organic chives and locally-sourced pork. Our volunteers couldn’t stop praising the taste of organic produce — a perfect ending to the day 👏
With climate change affecting global agriculture through extreme weather, everyone is striving for sustainable development. The farm experience helps youths gain firsthand insight into climate change, inspiring them to adopt a low-carbon lifestyle and join in protecting our planet. We look forward to seeing more youths get involved, change daily habits, and join hands to create a more sustainable and livable future 🌍

有關青年減碳平台
香港青年協會自 2023/24 學年開始推動「青年減碳平台」校園減碳行動，至今共達成超過二千七百萬公斤減碳量。踏入計劃第三年，為了繼續鼓勵更多青年參與「 #青年減碳行動」，讓有志於校園內推動低碳生活的年輕領袖，動員同學們實踐低碳生活，青協推出「校園減碳行動大使」計劃，旨在培養一批熱心 #環保、有擔當精神的學生領袖，引導他們積極參與校園減碳行動。計劃不僅能顯著降低學校的 #碳排放，更能提升全校師生的環保意識和責任心。
