Asian Cultural Council Hong Kong Supporting cultural exchange in the arts between the U.S. and Asia and amongst the countries of Asia.

The Asian Cultural Council (ACC) is the only organization in the world whose sole mission is to support cultural exchange between the United States and Asia and within the countries of Asia. Headquartered in New York city, the ACC maintains offices in Hong Kong and Tokyo with partner Foundations in Manila and Taipei. Grants are awarded for research and creative projects across a wide spectrum of the performing and visual arts, and across both traditional and contemporary concentrations. Some grants are also made to educational and cultural organizations engaged in projects of special significance to Asian-American exchange. The ACC is both a grant-making and grant-seeking organization, raising funding from corporate, foundation and individual donors in both the United States and Asia.

Join us on Thursday, Oct 22, at 7:00 p.m. for our inaugural ACC Hong Kong x HART HAUS Dialogue, “Curating and Hanoi, in Hong Kong,” with LÊ Thuận Uyên. 
 
Lê is an ACC Hong Kong Special Anniversary Fellow to conduct research on historic activities, exhibitions, and exchanges of Vietnamese and Southeast Asian contemporary artists in 1980s-1990s Hong Kong. 
 
She is also observing models of Hong Kong cultural non-profits and arts institutions to consider approaches to archiving, exhibition-making, and presenting key artistic figures and moments, that might be relevant to Vietnam’s contemporary art landscape. 
 
HART HAUS and ACC Hong Kong are Program Partners for Lê’s Fellowship. 
 
Lê is a curator based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Her past curatorial projects include: A choreography in Resonance, Setouchi Triennale, 2025 (Kagawa Museum, Japan, 2025); and the Vietnam Pavilion, Gwangju Biennale 15 (Gwangju, Korea, 2024).

誠邀參與亞洲文化協會香港分會與 HART HAUS 聯合舉辦的首場講座「Curating and Hanoi, in Hong Kong」，與 LÊ Thuận Uyên 對談

Lê 獲亞洲文化協會香港分會週年特別獎助支持，整輯 1980 至 90 年代越南及東南亞當代藝術家在香港的歷史足跡、展覽與交流

她亦考察香港非牟利文化機構及藝術團體的營運模式，研究把檔案管理、展覽製作及呈獻重要藝術家與時刻的經驗，轉化為適用於越南藝術發展的方針

HART HAUS 和亞洲文化協會香港分會為 Lê 的獎助計劃項目夥伴。

來自越南河內的策展人 Lê 過往策展項目包括 2025 年「瀨戶內國際藝術祭」期間於香川縣立博物館的展覽《A choreography in Resonance》以及 2024 年韓國光州雙年展越南館。

We very strongly suggest that you confirm your recommender immediately so they have enough time to write and submit your letter of recommendation.

Kindly note:

• You need to provide a working email for the person writing your Letter of Recommendation
• Only upon the submission of your application can the ACC portal automatically send your recommender a unique link to upload their letter
• ACC can process your application only if the letter is received
