林偉群老師 一九四九年應邀由香港前往泰國擔任報館攝影記者。 六十年代中期, 老師由泰國回港定居,得到摯友陳復禮先生誠邀加入中華影攝學會, 擔任攝影藝術研究和導師, 及後一直継續擔任多間攝影團體的顧問及各攝影班導師。 老師在香港一直教授各種攝影班, 學生衆多, 桃李滿門。 老師扶持後輩不遺餘力, 為人謙讓、隨和,深受學生和同道中人尊敬。
