eHelp 香港一直缺乏一套舉報機制打擊網上兒童性虐待材料（CSAM），多個關注兒童及青少年網絡安全的組織於2017年2月召開圓桌會議經討論後，希望籌組「網上支援協會eHelp」建立多方合作平台。

香港一直以來缺乏一套舉報機制以讓大眾舉報網上兒童性虐待材料（ Child Sexual Abuse Material, CSAM），就此於2017年2月，多個關注兒童網絡安全的持份者召開了第一次圓桌會議，席間並邀請到亞太地區相關的機構分享海外成功經驗。經過多番討論後，與會者決定共同籌組「網上支援協會」（eHelp Association），為香港兒童及青少年線上安全及保護工作出一份力量。
