As part of *Spanish Discovery Days 2026* Spanish World HK is opening its doors to families interested in discovering Spanish language and culture in Hong Kong.

Join a *FREE Spanish experience session* where children and teens can meet the teachers, experience their interactive teaching approach and discover the fun of learning Spanish!

35 Years Connecting Spain and Hong Kong 🇪🇸🇭🇰

On 23 September, we celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong with the people who have shaped its story, members, partners, friends, former leaders and long-time supporters who have become part of the Chamber family.

We were honoured to celebrate alongside Consul General Jesús Gracia, EU Ambassador Harvey Rouse, Economic & Commercial Counsellor Javier Serra Guevara, our President Israel Valcárcel, Vice-President Colman Wong, our Board and many members and friends of the Chamber.

Consul General Jesús Gracia reflected on the Chamber’s important role and its long-standing collaboration with the Consulate, while former Presidents Marisa Flores and Juan Dedeu took us back to the early days, sharing the challenges and journey from a business association to the official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

Looking ahead, Israel Valcárcel shared the vision of the Chamber as an Ibero-American connector, bringing Spain and Latin America closer to Hong Kong and Asia, and as a true Casa de España, a home for the Spanish community in Hong Kong.

Together with our General Manager, Ana Luque, he also recognised former Presidents and General Managers who have played an important part in the Chamber’s journey, welcoming them as Honorary Members in gratitude for their contribution.

After 35 years, the Chamber is more than an organisation. It is a community built through relationships, shared experiences and people who have supported one another over the years. It is a family. ❤️

Yesterday, we brought together members and friends of the Chamber for our Back to Business Happy Hour, an evening dedicated to reconnecting after the summer break, meeting new professionals and strengthening our business community in Hong Kong 🍷

Held together with the Italian Chamber HK & Macao and Greek Chamber of commerce in Hong Kong, the event brought together professionals from different industries for an evening of conversations, new introductions and meaningful exchanges across our international network 🇪🇸🇮🇹🇬🇷

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the evening such a success. These gatherings are a great opportunity to build new relationships, exchange ideas and continue fostering collaboration within Hong Kong’s business community.
