【HKUSWAA 專業交流參訪圓滿結束｜Connecting Through Service Visits】
今日，HKUSWAA 好開心聯同廿多位老師、校友及同學，一齊完成咗一個豐富又充實嘅專業交流參訪上午！大家先後到訪香港耀能協會新界西綜合社區康復中心、仁濟醫院荃灣社區客廳，以及麥當勞叔叔之家觀塘家舍，透過實地參觀、同工分享和彼此交流，從不同服務模式中認識社福服務如何回應社區、服務使用者及家庭的需要。✨
由社區康復、社區支援，以至病童及其家庭服務，每個單位都呈現出不同的專業視角和服務特色。大家在緊湊的行程中積極提問、分享觀察和交流想法，無論是老師、校友還是同學，都在彼此的對話中獲得不少啟發。
特別衷心感謝三個中心的同事熱情接待、細心導覽及慷慨分享，讓大家不但認識到各單位的服務理念、日常運作和實務挑戰，更看見一班專業同工在服務背後所付出的投入、創意與關懷。亦好多謝各單位為大家準備的心意，令今次參訪倍感溫暖！🙏
HKUSWAA 期望繼續連結港大社工的老師、校友及學生，創造更多跨世代、跨界別的學習與交流機會，讓大家在專業路上互相啟發、彼此支持、一起成長。

【HKUSWAA Professional Service Visits: Connecting Through Learning and Exchange】
Today, HKUSWAA was delighted to join over twenty faculty members, alumni, and students for a rich and meaningful morning of professional service visits. We visited the New Territories West Integrated Community Rehabilitation Centre of the Hong Kong PHAB Association, the Yan Chai Hospital Tsuen Wan Community Living Room, and Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong’s Kwun Tong House. Through site visits, sharing by service teams, and conversations among participants, we gained a deeper understanding of how different social services respond to the needs of communities, service users, and families. ✨
From community rehabilitation and community support to services for children with medical needs and their families, each visit offered a distinctive professional perspective and service model. Despite the full schedule, faculty members, alumni, and students actively asked questions, shared observations, and exchanged ideas. The conversations across different professional stages were a particularly meaningful part of the day.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the colleagues at all three service units for their warm hospitality, thoughtful arrangements, guided tours, and generous sharing. We learned not only about the philosophy, daily operations, and practical challenges of each service, but also about the commitment, creativity, and care that frontline professionals bring to their work. Thank you as well for the thoughtful refreshments and gifts, which made the visits especially warm and welcoming. 🙏
HKUSWAA looks forward to continuing to connect faculty members, alumni, and students of HKU Social Work, creating more opportunities for cross-generational and cross-sector learning, professional exchange, mutual support, and shared growth.
