Forestry Financing and Carbon Credit Capital

Financial sustainability is the key to keeping conservation efforts alive. Through our traceable afforestation and forestry management work, we are building a replicable model to be applied in multiple locations in Asia. On top of afforestation, we investigate the myriad of tangible forestry products to achieve forestry financing. As our forests grow, we will be able to supply tradable carbon credits upon accreditation.

Acarbon Forestry Resources, founded in 2023 and based in Hong Kong, envisions to close the loop of a circular bioeconomy through planting and managing sustainable and traceable carbon forestry. Acarbon – which stands for Asia Carbon – looks to densify forestry carbon sinks around Asia.

Through afforestation and sustainably managing forestry resources, we envision not only to sequester carbon to combat climate change, but also to restore and conserve nature and ecology for future generations, and to reconnect people with nature.

亞洲碳林智庫成立於2023年,總部位於香港,旨在通過種植和管理可持續可追溯的碳林,實現循環生物經濟。英文名字Acarbon代表Asia carbon,即亞洲之碳,致力於增加亞洲地區碳匯的存碳量。

通過造林和可持續地管理林業資源,我們不僅希望封存更多碳以應對氣候變遷,還希望為後代恢復和保護自然和生態,並重新與大自然建立聯繫。

Traceable and Carbon Dense Afforestation

We plant trees in Asia to create carbon dense forests that efficiently sequester carbon and combat climate change – with robust monitoring and traceability. To efficiently trace and monitor the lifetime of all trees we grow from seedlings to their afterlife, we develop and apply our own forestry blockchain system on our forest plots and the final forestry products they may become.

We plan our forests with local ecosystems in mind, reversing the trend of monoculture plantations to enhance biodiversity through careful selection of species assemblages.

我們在亞洲種植特選的本地樹種,配合穩健監測和可追溯性系統創建高碳匯造林,高效封存碳並應對氣候變遷。為了監測所有樹木的成長,我們開發林業區塊鏈系統,應用於我們的造林以及林業產品中。
