SNA創會主席楊美基博士在2024年1月24日舉行的「開源聚人才 創科'芯'未來」汽車芯片百人會香港系列活動啟動儀式暨（首屆）開放城市論壇中，參與了議題為「如何通過技術的軟硬融合推動香港創科的新發展?」的專家討論。

SNA科技與創新委員會聯席主席鄭光廷副校長發表主題演講分享了智能晶片與系統研發中心提供以算法與硬件協同設計的方式達到符合成本效益的AI應用場景與客制化AI芯片的完美契合方案。

這次論壇讓業界專家和領導就全球芯片半導體技術及產業趨勢、汽車芯片產業等議題進行深入的交流。我們期待滬、深、港在微電子領域技術和人才的合作，為汽車產業帶來更多的機遇和增長。

SNA榮譽主席陳正豪教授於論壇作閉幕分享，陳教授為香港特區政府創新科技署組長(特別職務)，負責今年成立的香港微電子研發院的籌備工作。香港微電子研發院將集中協助業界提高競爭力的研發工作，推動科技創新並擴大產業應用。SNA將全力支持特區政府及微電子研發院，共同推動微電子技術在香港的發展。

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Meikei Ieong, Founding Chairman of SNA, delivered a compelling keynote speech at the "Hong Kong-Shenzhen-Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs Summit" held in Hong Kong on January 23, 2024. Dr. Ieong emphasized the significance of spatial computing and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, illustrating how these innovations enable machines to better understand and interact with the real world. He also highlighted the projected rapid growth of the global spatial computing market, underscoring the immense potential and prospects of this technology in the field. SNA is honored to have participated in this summit, collaborating with tech entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Silicon Valley, and contributing to the development of the tech startup ecosystem. SNA在中國計算機學會（CCF）青年計算機科技論壇（YOCSEF）上發表了演講，探討香港微電子利多政策下的計算機產學合作前景。

SNA活動委員主席鍾沛璟博士應邀參加了2024年1月13日在深圳舉辦的中國計算機學會（CCF）青年計算機科技論壇（YOCSEF）。在論壇上，鍾博士發表了一場題為「從香港微電子利多政策下的挑戰看計算機產學合作的前景」的演講。

鍾博士重點介紹了香港特區政府在微電子領域的政策和措施。他表示，微電子是科技創新的基礎和驅動力，對於提升香港在科技領域的競爭力和影響力至關重要。鍾博士還關注微電子人才培養、基礎設施建設和運營方面的挑戰。他強調香港作為國際科技創新中心的潛力，並提出了一些建議和措施，以促進計算機產學合作的發展。

SNA is proud to announce that its Founding Chairman, Dr. Meikei Ieong (楊美基), has been appointed as a member of the Technology Council by the Chief Executive of the Macao SAR Government, Mr. Ho Iat Seng (賀一誠), with effect from 1 June 2023.
