廠商會「ESG約章」由廠商會主辦、香港品牌發展局擔任合辦機構、廠商會工業發展基金擔任活動贊助、CMA檢定中心及香港生產力局作為策略伙伴。約章的目的是提升香港工商界對可持續發展理念與實踐的重視及鼓勵業界透過簽署約章和訂立行動承諾，提升在環境保護、社會責任及公司管治(ESG）表現。企業參與約章可以汲取可持續發展的先進理念，更可得到廠商會向參與行動的公司提供升級支援，例如活動、培訓、課程、檢測及專項證書等。 計劃由廠商會主辦，並由香港品牌發展局作為合作機構，香港生產力促進局及廠商會檢定中心作策略伙伴，聯合國教科文組織作為支持機構。企業或機構參與計劃能夠得到益處：1. 樹立積極推廣、踐行ESG的先行者形象 2. 汲取可持續發展的先進理念 3. 未來逐步邁向更高階的碳審計及碳交易等標準。廠商會作為主辦機構，會引入其他服務機構、專業認證團體等向參與計劃的公司提供升級安排，例如活動、培訓、課程、檢測及專項證書等支援。
