Their sharing deepened participants' understanding in the application of coding to promote personal growth and skill development in MI.

This forum also featured experiential activity and discussion sessions led by Dr. Anthony Fok and Ms. Sandra Lai​, which inspired participants to reflect on their learning journey and innovative ways to learn MI.

We were honoured to have Dr. Steve Rollnick, the co-founder of Motivational Interviewing , to deliver a webinar and share with us the topic of 🔸”Tough conversations in high performance environments"🔸.
Dr. Rollnick shared his insights on giving helpful advice in situations where high performance is expected, such as sports coaching. He highlighted the position of MI spirit in giving helpful advice and illustrated how MI skills can be flexibily embedded in coaching.

This event also served as an opportunity to gather new HK MINT members for reunion and idea exchange.

🎊CAMI successfully hosted the second Training for New Trainers (TNT) endorsed by the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT）🎉, following the first TNT in Chinese societies in 2018.

29 participants completed the event and were introduced as new MINT members. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This event also provided a valuable opportunity for new MI trainers to meet the founder of Motivational Interviewing, Dr. William Miller🫡, and to connect with existing Hong Kong MINT members. 🤝

It is believed that the training significantly contributed to the growth and development of the MI trainer community in Hong Kong. Thank you all for your support and participation! 🫶🏻🙌🏻

We are pleased to introduce our training team for the Hong Kong TNT! Our lead trainer will guide a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to contribute their time and effort to provide a meaningful and fruitful training experience for the next generation of MI trainers.

This second TNT will take place from 🔹18-20 September 2025, Application will open on 🔸2nd JUN 2025 at 8:00am (Hong Kong time).

The TNT is an intensive three-day workshop specifically designed to develop high-quality Motivational Interviewing (MI) trainers. Participants who successfully complete the workshop will be eligible to join MINT, the international network of MI trainers. Our training team will consist of experienced MI trainers, whose names will be announced soon. If you are passionate about MI and eager to share it with others, this is a learning opportunity you won’t want to miss.

It will be a 3-day training workshop specifically designed to train quality MI trainers. After completion of the TNT, practitioners will be eligible to join the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), the international organization of MI trainers.
