"Galloping steeds and gentle goats" traces the ancient roots of agricultural civilization through two symbolic creatures.

The horse, a loyal companion in farming, transport, and warfare, gallops through history as a cultural icon. From the "thousand-li horse" — a metaphor for rare talent — to the "dragon-horse spirit," symbolizing vitality and perseverance, the steed embodies the drive and strength of a people.

In contrast, the goat is portrayed as a figure of compassion. Transformed into a divine being, it descends to the mortal world, witnesses human suffering, and steals the five sacred grains from heaven to teach humanity the ways of farming. This benevolent act is forever remembered in the cherished name of Guangzhou — "City of Five Goats."

Together, the horse's tenacity and the goat's kindness represent the twin wings of Chinese wisdom — the spirit of survival, compassion, and forward momentum.

The Divine Dragon and the Wisdom of the Spirit Snake decodes the cultural genes of two legendary beasts.

The Chinese dragon, with the antlers of a deer, the tail of a snake, and the scales of a fish, is known for its extraordinary powers, soaring through clouds. Since ancient times, it has been a supreme symbol of emperors, representing the "reincarnation of the dragon." It remains active in the Dragon Boat Festival and the Spring Festival dragon dance, embodying auspiciousness.
