A simple but very real story from the field.

Christina has a vision problem and is blind due to health issues. In the past, she could only listen to God’s Word when she was at church. At home, she had no way to continue.

Now, she is very thankful because the Audio Bible allows her to keep listening to God’s Word at home too. She shared that through this, her faith is continuing to grow.

This season marks the launch of the Audio Bible in two Bidayuh languages — Serian and Biatah.

As Archbishop Simon Poh says to the two similar communities with distinctive differences while translating the Audio Bible, "let it be the Word of God that brings us together because it is the same Jesus we are listening to."

In collaboration with Faith Comes By Hearing Asia, SIL Global, Bible Society, and local church communities.

Bidayuh Language Launch | Many Voices. One Word.

She reflected, “Doing God’s work is not for human praise.”

Noreen, a Field Coordinator shared how the Gospel of John has been shaping her life and ministry.

As she listened to God’s Word, it became her daily spiritual food — strengthening her and changing the way she serves.

“How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?”
— John 5:44 (ESV)

The Gospel film has also helped many in her church — especially those who cannot read — to understand the Word more clearly.

She shared that before knowing God, her life was full of worry.
But now, walking daily with His Word, she has peace.

Bidayuh Biatah Celebration – Good News Fellowship

The celebration continues — on 7 February 2026, believers gathered at Good News Fellowship, Sarawak to celebrate the availability of the Bidayuh Biatah Audio Bible. Though smaller in size, the gathering carried the same joy and anticipation as leaders and community representatives came together to hear the Word of God in their heart language.

During the celebration, 51 Proclaimers were placed into the hands of church and community leaders, equipping them to bring God’s Word into homes, villages, and listening groups.

We are grateful for the partnership of Faith Comes By Hearing Asia, SIL, Bible Society, and local church communities.

Bidayuh Biatah Celebration + ONE2026 Soft Launch

On 7 February 2026, nearly 1,000 believers gathered at St Ann Church for a combined ONE2026 Campaign Soft Launch and Bidayuh Biatah Scripture celebration.

Church leaders, ministry partners, and believers from different communities came together in worship and celebration, sharing the story behind the translation journey that made the Scriptures available in Bidayuh Biatah.

This work reflects the collaboration of Faith Comes By Hearing Asia, SIL, Bible Society, and churches from multiple denominations, united in the shared mission of ensuring communities can hear God’s Word in their own languages.

The highlight came as 200 Proclaimers were distributed to church and community leaders, followed by the congregation listening together to John 1:1–17 in their heart language.

As the gong sounded by the Archbishop of Kuching, the Word of God was heard publicly by the community — a powerful reminder that Scripture belongs to every people, every culture, and every language across Asia.

The gathering also marked the ONE2026 Campaign Soft Launch, inviting churches and believers across Asia to listen to the Gospel of John together.

On 6 February 2026, about 250 believers gathered at St Theresa’s Church in Kuching to celebrate the launch of the Bidayuh Serian Audio Bible.

Clergy, church leaders, community members, and ministry partners came together for this historic moment. During the celebration, the Audio Bible was formally enthroned in Bidayuh Serian, and the congregation listened together to Luke 1:1–17 spoken in their heart language.

This milestone was made possible through the partnership of Faith Comes By Hearing Asia, SIL, Bible Society, and local church communities, who worked together to bring God’s Word to the Bidayuh Serian people in their heart language.

As part of the launch, 200 Proclaimers were distributed to church and community leaders, equipping them to bring God’s Word into homes and listening groups throughout the region.

Moments like these remind us that across Asia, communities are encountering God’s Word in ways that are personal, accessible, and life-giving.
