Sometimes, creating change starts with simply creating a space. ❤️​

​For communities in Mullaitivu, access to the right facilities and
opportunities has long been a challenge. Today, the Community
Development Training Centre is helping change that — providing a
space for the community to come together, learn, grow, and
create new opportunities.​

Because when we create a space for people to grow, we create the
possibility for communities to grow too. ❤️​

This World Humanitarian Day, we reflect on the power of people who choose to speak up, stand for others, and use their voices and platforms to create a better world.​

In Mullaitivu, a shared space is bringing people together to learn, exchange ideas, build skills, and turn potential into action.​

Together with Sarvodaya, we’re helping people build stronger livelihoods and create lasting progress, empowering them to shape what comes next.​

​Because when people are allowed to grow, the impact can reach an entire community.

Sometimes, all it takes is one opportunity to change the course of
someone's future. 🌱​

​For Vinsensia, the GreenSkills Project opened the door to meaningful work and new possibilities. Through sustainable farming, she gained the skills to earn an income, support her family's daily needs, and build confidence in herself.​

​Her story is a reminder that when people are given the right
opportunities, they can create lasting change for themselves, their
families, and their communities.​

​Together with Plan Indonesia, we're proud to support initiatives that create sustainable livelihood opportunities—one story, one harvest, and one community at a time.
