It connects volunteers directly with donors and NGOs to ensure that leftover bread reaches the people who need it. Breadline是香港首個回收剩食的網上平台，作為連繫城市的志願者與麵包店的橋樑，致力減少食物浪費，並為有需要人士提供即時援助。

1.服務社會同時推動科研

剩食平台由譚迪詩博士建立，以服務社會為宗旨，致力於糧食系統研究，以學術角度分析及拆解香港剩食鏈，尋找有效方法處理香港的剩食問題。

2. 關於剩食 拯救食物？

香港作為全球十大最高收入城市之一，卻有兩成人口在貧窮線下掙扎，每天只能用30元購買食物。然而，每天運送到堆填區的剩食高達3600噸（相等於250架雙層巴士），數目驚人。食物是珍貴的資源，將剩食回收，有效地送到有需要的人手上，既能幫助基層人士，亦是響應環保的行為。
