✨Therapy Dog Elderly Home Visit with The Salvation Army Tai Po Multi-service Centre🐾💛

Sometimes, connection begins with a simple command. 🥰

As part of the Jockey Club SO.ME.CARE Carer Support Project, therapy dogs Fei Fei and Misty recently visited seniors at The Salvation Army Tai Po Multi-service Centre for Senior Citizens.🤝🏼

Alongside a series of interactive games designed to encourage gentle movement and mobility, seniors learned a few simple commands to communicate with the dogs. Watching the concentration on their faces as they carefully gave instructions, followed by smiles of delight when Fei Fei and Misty responded so attentively, was truly a joy to see. 🐶✨

Beyond the activities themselves, the visit sparked conversation, engagement, and genuine connection. Fei Fei and Misty helped make each encounter a little more special.🐾😊

有時候，一個簡單的指令，便能開啟一段溫暖的連結。🥰

作為賽馬會愛護「里」護老者支援計劃的一部分，治療犬 Fei Fei 和 Misty 早前到訪救世軍大埔長者綜合服務中心，與一眾長者共度愉快時光。🤝🏼

除了參與促進身體活動能力的互動遊戲外，長者們亦學習了一些簡單指令，與狗狗進行互動。看著大家專注地發出指令，而 Fei Fei 和 Misty 又認真地作出回應，臉上隨即展露出滿足的笑容，令人會心微笑。🐶✨

除了活動本身，這次探訪亦促進了交流與互動，讓人與人、人與狗狗之間建立起真摯的連結。Fei Fei 和 Misty 的陪伴，亦為這些時刻增添了更多溫暖。 🐾😊

🕊️In Loving Memory of Bondi🐾

Some dogs don’t just walk into a room. They bounce in, tail wagging, ready to bring joy to everyone they meet. Bondi was exactly that kind of dog.🤍

Bondi has full energy and endless love for people. She devoted her whole heart to every community session she joined as a therapy dog. She didn’t just sit quietly. She played, she swung, she sought a hug, and she made every child smile.

Bondi absolutely loved being around kids. Whatever the age groups, she turned every visit into a moment of pure happiness. She taught students that interacting with dogs can be fun, joyful, and full of happiness. Also, that filled with kindness and respect.

Bondi never needed to ask for attention. Her cheerful spirit drew people in naturally. Wherever she went, laughter followed.

Thank you, Bondi, for every excited tail wag, every happy jump, every community visit you filled with energy. Your bouncy, loving energy will always be remembered as part of the family.

You may be gone, but your joy stays with us forever.🌈🐾

Bondi 超級喜歡小朋友。無論是什麼年齡，她把每一次探訪都變成開心到不行的時光。她讓學生們學到，跟狗狗互動可以很有趣、很有活力，同時也充滿溫柔與尊重。

Some dogs walk quietly into a room, yet leave the biggest imprint on every heart they meet. Brooklyn was one of them. 🤍

With his gentle spirit and calm presence, Brooklyn touched countless hearts through his journey as a therapy dog. Whether sitting quietly beside a student or offering a soft nudge of comfort, he had a special way of making people feel safe and seen.

Although Brooklyn joined our therapy dog family later in life, he embraced every school visit with curiosity and joy. From young children to teenagers, he helped students learn how to interact with dogs through kindness, patience, and respect.

Brooklyn never asked for attention, yet people were always naturally drawn to him.

Thank you, Brooklyn, for every visit, every wag of your tail, and every moment of unconditional love you shared with us. Your gentle spirit will always remain part of the family and will never be forgotten. 🌈🐾

雖然Brooklyn在較年長時才加入我們的治療犬大家庭，但他一直非常享受每一次校園探訪。由小朋友到青少年，他陪伴學生學習如何以耐心、愛與尊重和狗狗相處，也默默將溫暖帶到每一間課室。

🐾Therapy Dog Elderly Home Visit: Delivering Love to Elder’s Doorsteps 🏡✨

Our amazing therapy dogs Frostie, Fa Gao, and Fei Fei recently went on a very special mission! We partnered with the Salvation Army - Mong Kok Integrated Service for Senior Citizens - Hoi Lam Centre for Senior Citizens for the first time, bringing an afternoon of unexpected delight and pure happiness to local senior citizens.🌟❤️

The highlight of the day was our door-to-door visits specifically arranged to reach solitary elders right in their own homes. There was nothing more rewarding than seeing these seniors open their doors to find our furry ambassadors waiting in their hallways with wagging tails. 🐕🏡

Alongside these intimate home visits, we also hosted a meet-and-greet at the elderly center. The power of animal connection is truly magical – without needing many words, a gentle nuzzle or a warm hug is enough to lift spirits and bring endless positive energy to our beloved elders. 🐾👵🏻🤝🏼

🚀 St. James’ Settlement Pet Care and Grooming Vocational Training 🛠️

Finding a career path that truly fits is about more than just a job – it’s about finding where you belong. We are excited to share our latest collaboration with 聖雅各福群會 St. James' Settlement (Supported Employment Training for Persons with Disabilities) for our Pet Care and Grooming Vocational Training program, helping talented SEN youth transition into the professional world of animal care. 💼

During their training and internship at .puppylounge, participants move from theory to true hands-on experience. These young trainees are busy mastering the art of the perfect blow-dry, the precision of brushing and de-shedding, and the essential care involved in bathing and hygiene checks. 🐶✨

Beyond the tools, they are learning the subtle science of canine behavior – understanding how to read and respond to a dog’s needs to ensure a calm environment. They are also building vital customer service skills, gaining the confidence to communicate effectively with pet owners. 💬🤝

Our support for these young professionals doesn’t end at graduation. We are committed to building a bridge to stable employment. We are thrilled to announce that we have already successfully completed this cohort and recruited one of the participants to join our team as a part-time staff member! 🌈🔝

尋找一條合適的職業道路，不單是為了工作，更是為了找到發揮所長的舞台。我們非常榮幸能與聖雅各福群會（殘疾人士輔助就業培訓）合作開展「寵物保姆職業生涯規劃」，協助具潛質的SEN青年正式踏入專業動物護理的領域。💼

成長的核心發生在The Puppy Lounge護理及訓練中心。實習期間，參加者將理論化為實踐：從掌握精準的吹毛技巧、細緻的梳理，到符合業界標準的沖涼與基本健康檢查。除了技術層面，這群年輕人更在深入研習狗狗的行為科學，學習讀懂毛孩的情緒以建立信任；同時培養專業的服務溝通，學習如何與寵物主人建立專業互動。💬🤝

Finding the right career path is a journey of discovery. Our Pet Care and Grooming Vocational Training empowers students from .ig to transform their love and passion for animals into a professional future! 🌟

We are proud to provide these students with hands-on experience through internship at our grooming and training center, .puppylounge. This program is a deep dive into the high-standard skills required by the industry:

🐶 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲: Mastering health essentials, including simple body checks and understanding different breeds’ personalities and traits.
✂️ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴: Practical training in bathing, professional blow-drying, brushing, ear cleaning, and full grooming techniques.
🐕 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: Learning to "speak dog" and respond to dog body language.

✨Shatin Public School Therapy Dog Ambassador Program🐾

When professional training meets genuine compassion, the results are truly transformative. With generous sponsorship of , our Therapy Dog Ambassador Program is officially at its halfway mark! Shatin Public School marks the fifth school we have collaborated with out of the 10 schools in this impactful initiative. 💞

After weeks of training, these dedicated students stepped into their roles as confident therapy dog handles during a recent visit to an elderly home in Kwun Tong. Accompanied by our furry ambassadors – Cha Siu, Fei Fei, and .misskaya – the students demonstrated remarkable growth. They moved beyond the classroom to “speak dog,” interpreting subtle behavioral cues to guide the residents through interactive games designed to improve physical mobility. 🐶❤️

This program creates a powerful, two-way bridge of support:

🌟 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵: it fosters deep empathy, social responsibility, and the confidence to lead in a professional setting.

真正的改變，往往源於專業訓練與真誠關懷的結合。在太古地產的鼎力贊助下，我們的「治療犬社區探訪」迎來了一個重要的里程碑 -- 沙田公立學校成為第五間合作學校，意味著這項涵蓋十間學校的共融計劃，已經順利完成了一半的旅程！

經過數星期的訓練，這群充滿熱誠的年輕人從學員蛻變成自信的治療犬領犬員。他們帶著治療犬Cha Siu、Fei Fei, 和Kaya走進觀塘區的一間長者中心，將課堂所學的化為實踐。他們不單學會了解讀狗狗的肢體語言，更引導長者們參與互動遊戲，協助他們鍛鍊肢體協調，同時帶來滿滿的歡笑。

🐾👋🏻Therapy Dog Mindfulness Meet & Greet at SPCC👋🏻🐾

Exam season is no joke, but our therapy dog team stepped into St. Paul's Co-educational College (SPCC) to help keep the "big exam energy" in check. ✨

Organized by the student union , therapy dogs Bo Bo, Cooper, Fei Fei, Mia, and Willow spent two days on campus for a Mindfulness Meet & Greet. The goal was simple: give students a real reason to look up from their textbooks and take a breath.

Instead of rushing through their break, students took the time to sit quietly with Willow, share a calm moment with Cooper, or just enjoy the steady, grounding presence of .bobo, Fei Fei, and Mia. It wasn't about big excitement; it was about those small, quiet interactions – a paw on a knee or a soft head to pet – that remind us to stay present when things get overwhelming. 🐶❤️

A huge shoutout to St. Paul’s student union for prioritizing mental wellbeing and making this happen. To all students: the hard work is real, but so is the need to look after yourselves. You’ve got this, and our pups are rooting for you! 🐾💪

考試季節的壓力真的不容小覷，所以我們的治療犬小隊特意走進聖保羅男女中學，希望幫同學們排解一下那股緊繃的考前氣氛。✨

感謝學生會Eternora的邀請和策劃，讓治療犬Bo Bo、Cooper、Fei Fei、Mia和Willow能一連兩天來到校園舉行「治療犬減壓充電站」。我們的目標很簡單：就是希望大家能暫時從課本中抬起頭，好好放鬆一下。

有人選擇靜靜地坐在Willow身邊、有人與Cooper互動玩遊戲、或者單純感受著Bo Bo, Fei Fei和Mia帶來的踏實感。這次的減壓充電站並非追求熱熱鬧鬧，而是希望透過這些微小而安靜的互動，在壓力排山倒海而來時，提醒我們要留心當下。🐶❤️
