Environmental Recycle Center (環保資源再生中心)
Environmental Recycle Center (環保資源再生中心) 創立於2020年，與環保協進會和劉財記紙業合作，致力實踐及推廣環保回收工作。
本中心於大埔工業邨設置大形PET塑膠回收機器，務求將PET塑膠瓶子妥善回收，將收集到的瓶子轉化成可供「升級再造」(Upcycling) 的膠片，盼能提升香港目前的回收率，長遠希望能回收並再造其他種類的塑膠，達致一個完善的閉環系統 (Closed loop)，減少塑膠的棄置量，減低堆填區每天接收160公噸膠樽(約800萬枝膠樽)的負荷。
Environmental Recycle Center was founded in 2020, incorporated with Environmental Association and Lau Choi Kee Papers Co.Ltd., has been putting utmost effort in promoting and putting recycling projects into practice.
PET plastic bottles are collected and recycled in our recycling plant in Tai Po Industrial Estate. The PET bottles are then sorted, washed and melted to transform into small plastic pellets which can be further upcycled. In the future, we hope to recycle other kinds of plastic with the intention of achieving a closed loop for plastic recycling. We aim to reduce plastic waste disposal and alleviate the burden of landfills receiving more than 160 tonnes of plastic bottles (approx. 8 million) per day.
