Hong Kong’s summer brings heavy rains, strong winds, and sticky humidity. For our hardworking migrant domestic workers, caring for your health is just as important as caring for others. 💙

Here are some simple tips to keep you well:
• 💧 Hydrate often: Drink water regularly to fight dehydration in the heat.
• 🥗 Eat light & fresh: Fruits and vegetables help boost your immune system.
• 🧥 Balance AC use: Avoid sitting directly under cold air; carry a light jacket or scarf to prevent coughs and colds.
• 🌬️ Ventilate safely: When weather allows, open windows briefly for fresh air—but close them securely during typhoons.
• 🛌 Rest matters: Even short breaks help your body recover from long hours of work.
• 🧠 Care for your mind: Storms can feel stressful—stay connected with friends, family, or community groups for support.

On May 17th we had the pleasure of learning the basics of songwriting with Mr. William Elvin Manzano from The Bootstrap Theatre HK and Teatro Bayanihan Tayo! 🎼The workshop helped our participants dive deeper into the world of music, got tips on how to start with sharing your story lyrically, and they were able to create songs in groups. 🎸We hope our participants continue their music journey, keep developing their skills, and experiencing the benefits of this creative outlet! 🥰🎶
