John Association also provides training in Home Nursing for persons who completed First Aid/ CPR/AED training. The Ambulance Brigade
We do not operate an Ambulance and even when we received one as a gift, it was given to the Linden Branch, that was from the Japanese Government. However, the St. John Ambulance Brigade supports Disaster Preparedness of the Guyana Civil Defence Commission. We also send members to be present in uniform at all large gathering, eg. Remembrance Day, Flag Raising etc. The Brigade also supports sports events. Its outreach programmes target homes for the elderly, where visits are arranged and Brigade members interact with the residents. Mailing addresses:-
