UPDATE - 10th July 2025 - The horse is gone. We suspect that the owner heard about our Facebook post and came and took the horse before a report could be made to the Police. Our member - Sharon Singh went yesterday with AWAG ID badge to do the necessaries, but found the horse gone. She spoke with the guard by the school who said it is a working horse. There are plenty of empty lots there where the horse can graze, but no shade.

HORSE LEFT WITHOUT FOOD, WATER OR SHADE FOR 5 DAYS ON THE BACK ROAD OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE PRIVATE SCHOOL IN CORNELIA IDA, WEST COAST DEMERARA
Is anyone on here living in Cornelia Ida or nearby areas? If so can you go with a bucket and ask the neighbours there if you can fill it up with water for the horse. Ask the neighbours if they would be willing to give the horse water everyday until the owner comes and if they know the owner's name.
Find out if there is some Pet Shop nearby where horse feed can be purchased. Then if you send me your email address, I can email you a NEGLECT - WARNING NOTICE for the owner, which can be printed off and put in a plastic wallet and cellotaped to the rope. The horse also needs to be moved to a shady spot, under a tree nearby and tied in a way that he can graze and lay down.
