The Guyana Teachers’ Union-Mabaruma Branch is pleased to support Mr. Ronald Cox, our present Chairman for the position of 2nd Vice President of the Guyana Teachers' Union at this year’s triennial elections.
Mr. Cox a distinguished educator has over the years demonstrated true leadership, courage, commitment and integrity.
Even in the most challenging of times, he finds ways and means of overcoming same. He has always demonstrated concern for all teachers under his leadership and have represented well.
Therefore, we encourage our colleagues across Guyana to support him.
We must be united and determined where change is necessary.

The executives of the Mabaruma branch of the Guyana Teachers' Union hereby express a huge “Thank You” to our members who joined in our Annual May Day Parade and Day of Sports yesterday.
Despite some minor challenges, we were able to mobilize teachers from as far as Red Hill, Imbotero, Yarakita, Kamwatta, etc. It was a fun filled day.
The Guyana Teachers’ Union-Mabaruma Branch appreciate you all.

This is contrary to reports that such activities have been cancelled.
