The Ubuntu Young People Organization takes this time to celebrate and congratulate all the athletes who represented Guyana at the CARIFTA Games especially Attoya Harvey.

Harvey returned with three medals – gold, silver and bronze – after a sensational display at the CARIFTA Games in Kingston, Jamaica.

She won gold in the 1500m (4: 45.75), silver in the 3000m (10: 51.40) and bronze in the 800m (2:14.08).
You have made us all proud.

We also want to acknowledge and appreciate her parents for nurturing such a phenomenal woman. To her; brothers, sisters, nephews, Aunts, uncles, cousins we encourage you to continue to show her the love and support that she needs in her endeavors.

We also want to acknowledge her coach. It's one thing to see Talent, it's even better when you can acknowledge and nurture it to meet its full potential. We don't know the challenges you had to overcome, but we see the results and we are proud of what you've done.
