Santa Cruz Beading and Weaving Artisan Classes

Santa Cruz Beading and Weaving Artisan Classes Learn to bead or weave with local Santa Cruz artisans while enjoying a fantastic view of Lake Atitlan. Classes run for 2-3 hours.

All proceeds support the community of Santa Cruz La Laguna through the local nonprofit Amigos de Santa Cruz. class taught by a local artisan.

• Beading classes (2 person minimum) run for 2-3 hours and include a friendship bracelet of your design that you get to take home.
• Weaving classes (no minimum number) are held a local artisan’s home and include a scarf to take home that you make yourself. English and Spanish-language classes available.

Booking a class with us means supporting local artisans and supporting Amigos de Santa Cruz Foundation

This year, Amigos helped the communities of Santa Cruz during the economic and health crisis caused by COVID-19. By implementing Food Security and Job Stimulus Programs and readjusting their current Education and Economic Empowerment Programs, they brought a sense of stability during these uncertain times.
