🌍 On 12–13 March, Thessaloniki hosted the Sol4All International Think Tank, a two-day transnational event bringing together 52 participants from 5 countries:

🇬🇷 Greece
🇵🇹 Portugal
🇸🇪 Sweden
🇩🇰 Denmark
🇫🇷 France

🇪🇺 Building on the findings of four national Think Tanks held across Europe, participants came together to critically examine EU participation mechanisms and co-create evidence-based recommendations for strengthening civic engagement and solidarity at local, national, and European levels.

One insight resonated across every group: genuine participation means placing "we" before "I" - prioritising the common good as the foundation of democratic life.

We are proud to share this milestone during European Youth Week, a reminder that meaningful participation must be accessible to all, and that when young people receive the right tools and spaces, they become powerful agents of change.

🙌 In the framework of the Youth Democraid project, we implemented a series of workshops, focusing on:
🔹Youth Leadership and Empowerment
🔹Community Action and Grassroots Initiatives
🔹Youth and Civic Engagement
🔹Political Participation and Advocacy
🔹Introduction to Democracy and Citizenship.

🤝Participants were actively engaged throughout these workshops, interacting with one another, exchanging ideas, and exploring diverse perspectives on key societal issues. The group discussions fostered an environment of open communication and mutual respect, enabling individuals to share their viewpoints while remaining receptive to differing opinions.

YOUTH DEMOCRAID | 10–11 October | Międzybrodzie Bialskie, Poland

CCR participated in the international youth forum of the YOUTH DEMOCRAID project, which aims to empower young people through civic education and active participation.
As part of the program, we visited the local school in Międzybrodzie Bialskie, where we had engaging discussions with local politicians about how youth are involved in civic and political life across different countries.
On the second day, we joined a collaborative workshop where, in groups, we designed our own “ideal cities.” The activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, and dialogue on how to make our communities more sustainable, inclusive, and vibrant for all citizens.
