Good news for UK tourists.
Good news!!!
Greece has eased travel procedures for UK tourists by exempting them from the EU’s new Entry/Exit System (EES), which requires biometric data such as fingerprints and facial scans.
The decision aims to avoid long delays and congestion at airports, especially during the busy summer season. Instead of undergoing biometric checks, British travelers will follow the traditional process of passport control and stamping, making entry faster and simpler.
This move highlights Greece’s effort to protect its tourism industry and improve visitor experience, as the UK remains one of its most important markets. Other EU countries continue to apply the full biometric system.
