Youthability

Youthability YOUTHABILITY is an NGO in the field of YOUTH Entrepreneurship is the key for the development of a country's economy and of Europe itself.

Europe 2020 indeed stresses the fundamental role of education and training to form new generations of entrepreneurs. Europe needs more entrepreneurs the EU notes in 2013 (http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-13-12_el.htm) and while 37% of Europeans would like, if they could, to have their own business the 43% (FL354) of them states that have difficulties to obtain information on how to start th

eir own business. In order to create new generations of entrepreneurs the role of education and training is fundamental. The acquisition of necessary skills and knowledge is cultivated by coordinated and structured programmes as the 15% - 20% of students participating into a micro-entrepreneurship programme during their school years would later start their own company in tripled percentage compared to the general population. Based on the fact that Entrepreneurial Learning is a key pillar for the economy of a country, we tried to deepen the needs of new and current trends by conducting research on the job objects and fields of interest of young people. From the data analysis showed that a large part of young people are active in the field of fashion and even manages to provide income for a living. Their activity relates to fashion blogging, writing articles, YouTube channels, etc. while they earn money from clothing companies which pay them for publishing articles or promote their products through their activity. The clothing companies to reduce their advertising costs, are increasingly turning to indirect advertising through various sites and blogs. The field of activity of young people in the fashion industry, is not an object to which special emphasis has been given in combination with entrepreneurial learning, although many youth have it oriented to a more commercial activity. The lack of specialized support is due to the fact that youth workers do not have methods and ways of connecting Fashion with Entrepreneurial learning to enable them to cultivate attitudes and entrepreneurial skills. As a result, ELA project has as a main objective the training of Youth Workers on entrepreneurial learning in the field of Fashion. Fashion is a new trend that interests youth not only as a hobby and passion but also as a profession and as an income resource. Therefore, the project’s target group is Youth Workers who wish to be trained on entrepreneurial learning in the field of Fashion and they will consequently work with youth and train them to become fashion professionals. The Project is Co-Financed by the EU within the Erasmus+

🌟 MindPact Mobility in Thessaloniki - Mental Health Empowerment for Active Youth Participation.

What an incredible, transformative week it has been in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki! From May 11th to May 15th, passionate youth workers representing Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, and Romania came together for the MindPact: Youth Participation Lab on Mental Health and Civic Engagement. The mobility set out with a powerful mission: to equip youth workers with the tools to support young people facing mental health challenges while fostering their active participation in civic life. Our days in Thessaloniki have been packed with energy and deep learning! Through dynamic non-formal activities our youth workers have been diving into new ways to support youth well-being. 🧠 A major highlight of our training was inviting a psychology specialist who joined us to share invaluable professional insights on mental health, emotional resilience, and well-being.

🌍✨ To wrap up this incredible mobility, we celebrated our Intercultural Day! The room was filled with the vibrant sounds of music and the delicious aromas of traditional food brought by participants from all of our participating countries. It was the perfect way to celebrate our diversity and strengthen our new European network.

YOUTHABILITY in Luxembourg! 🇱🇺

We were proud to take part in the ENABLE Youth Climate Policy Dialogues in Luxembourg City on March 31st and April 1st. These two days brought together young people from across Europe, creating a space for meaningful dialogue, learning, and collaboration around climate action and civic participation.

Through interactive workshops and group discussions, we explored key topics linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, especially climate action, inclusive governance, and partnerships. The experience gave us the opportunity to strengthen our voice as young people and better understand how we can actively contribute to climate policy and decision-making.

A highlight of the experience was our visit to the Europa Experience Centre, where we gained deeper insight into European institutions, values, and how decisions are shaped at EU level. It was an inspiring reminder of the importance of active citizenship and informed participation.

On the second day, we explored Luxembourg City, connecting history, memory, and European identity. Visiting important landmarks and institutions helped us reflect on democracy, human rights, and our role as engaged citizens in today’s world.

A big thank you to the organisers and partners for creating such a meaningful experience, and to all participants for the inspiring discussions, ideas, and energy. We return home motivated to continue taking action in our communities.

We are proud to be part of ENABLE.

🌿🎨 We Did It – And It Was Amazing.

On July 15–16, we proudly hosted the Youth Climate Art & Advocacy Exhibition in Kastoria, welcoming young people from 7 European countries for two inspiring days of creativity, connection, and climate action.

As part of the ENABLE project, this event was much more than an exhibition. It became a space where ideas came to life. From hands-on workshops about art and sustainability to the moving “Nature Tells a Story” photography session, young people showed how creativity can speak up for our planet. 🌍📸

🤝 Over shared meals, group projects, and open conversations, everyone built new friendships that crossed borders and languages.

🎤 They didn’t just show their art—they shared their passion.
💡 They didn’t just listen—they took part.
🌱 And they left with fresh ideas, confidence, and a common goal: to keep working for a fairer, greener world.

We’re grateful to all the young people who joined us, to our ENABLE partners, and to everyone who believes in the power of youth to make a difference.
