And while the quarantine seems eternal and endless, and we miss hugs and kisses of friends, we think of journeys that we did not take, and then, as long as the mind runs, those that had we did in the past. Once upon a time, we were traveling freely, and we had a backpack and we were exploring the world, by planes, trains and buses.
Cavafy had written that we wish the road to be long. But Cavafy never imagined that his stay in Ithaca would be long. So a song dedicated to the journeys that were, the journeys that never were, and the journeys that will be.

"And all the outcasts will be eaten by the worm
and those who traveled are jealous of Ithaca "
