The event highlighted the importance of sustainability, digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of accommodation MSMEs across the Mediterranean.

Through collaboration and innovation, SMAC continues supporting a more sustainable and resilient tourism ecosystem across the region.

SMAC Project presented in Tunisia during the National Forum on Sustainable Coastal Tourism in the Mediterranean, held under the patronage of the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism.

The event highlighted the importance of sustainable coastal development, innovation and green transition across the Mediterranean region.

During the forum, CCITunis presented the SMAC initiative and the Simplified Sustainability Model for Accommodation (SSMA), supporting small accommodation businesses in their ecological transition.

Tunisia leads the way in sustainable hospitality.

The Tunisian Chamber of Commerce, partner of the SMAC project, highlights Tunisia’s strong progress in sustainable tourism across the Mediterranean.

From eco-certified hotels to solar-powered coastal resorts, the country is actively shaping a more responsible hospitality model. At the same time, cross-border collaborations and shared certification standards strengthen regional cooperation and amplify impact.

Through its contribution to the SMAC project, Tunisia showcases how sustainability, innovation and cooperation can drive real change in the tourism sector.

Η Τυνησία πρωτοπορεί στη βιώσιμη φιλοξενία.

Το Εμπορικό και Βιομηχανικό Επιμελητήριο Τυνησίας, εταίρος του έργου SMAC, αναδεικνύει τη σημαντική πρόοδο της χώρας στον τομέα του βιώσιμου τουρισμού στη Μεσόγειο.

Από ξενοδοχεία με οικολογικές πιστοποιήσεις έως παράκτια θέρετρα που αξιοποιούν την ηλιακή ενέργεια, η Τυνησία διαμορφώνει ενεργά ένα πιο υπεύθυνο μοντέλο φιλοξενίας. Παράλληλα, η διακρατική συνεργασία και τα κοινά πρότυπα πιστοποίησης ενισχύουν τη συνολική επίδραση του έργου.

Μέσα από τη συμμετοχή της στο έργο SMAC, αναδεικνύεται πώς η βιωσιμότητα, η καινοτομία και η συνεργασία μπορούν να οδηγήσουν σε ουσιαστική αλλαγή στον τουριστικό τομέα.

Τα visuals έχουν σχεδιαστεί σε ενιαία αισθητική γραμμή με το υπόλοιπο υλικό του έργου, ενώ τα λογότυπα έχουν τοποθετηθεί σύμφωνα με τα guidelines.
