We are so deeply thankful to both Dansk Middelalderkampsport sammenslutning and Mathias K Søjborg (our coach and the man who effectivelly brought buhurt to Greece through his interaction with Protospatharii) for the great hospitality and the awesome time and fun we had at our recent visit in the homeland of Vikings and the Varangian Guard.

Aaaand a throwback to our first trip to Tarnovo Festival in June 2022.

Marinos (left) with full plate harness and his 2nd half of 14th c Chalkis collection brigandine, (under the surcoat) and John (right) with a typical early 14th c coat-of-plates, as has been found in very recent digs at Nikopoli and the Rhodope mountains.

(*Kits looked a bit funny back in the beginnings 😁 )

- Leather boots
- Seax-style machaira based on the find at Varna musuem, which by the way is most likely what the term "paramerion" meant.
