We hope everyone had a lovely Easter break! We’re happy to be back at Faros School and began the week with an egg hunt 🐣

Students explored every corner of the school in search of hidden chocolate eggs and were eager to find as many as they could! It was a great day filled with laughter, gifts, and delicious chocolate 🎁

Happy International Day for Digital Learning!

Digital learning is more than just access to technology, it’s about creating opportunities for everyone!

Faros School is a pioneer school when it comes to innovation and technology. The WAVE project has given us the chance to participate in the development of a tool kit and hands-on activities that supports digital trainers and empowers young migrants towards digital inclusion, contributing to more equal opportunities across Europe 🌍

WAVE is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Program.

Refugee and migrant women and girls face incredible barriers. At Faros School, we see them rise above every challenge!

They are scientists, artists, leaders, and dreamers.

📚 Our new library at Faros School is officially open!

This cozy space gives our students a place to find hope and explore stories that inspire. Reading also helps build language skills and confidence, opening doors to new opportunities in learning.

Yesterday, our CEO, Patricia, had the privilege of lecturing at Aalborg Universitet (Aalborg University) on “Global Problems in Social Work.”. The session sparked meaningful and important group discussions on how we, as professionals and organizations, can better meet and support vulnerable teens with care, competence, and compassion.

At Faros, we are committed to developing best practices to ensure that every unaccompanied child and refugee teen is met with dignity, respect, and the highest standard of care and support. Over the years, we have collaborated with a number of universities and institutes, and we are thrilled to have established a partnership with the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Aalborg University.

🎭 Last week, Faros School dressed up for the festive spirit of Apokries! The youth made colourful masks and enjoyed festival music. It was great to see everyone getting involved and having a good time! 🙌

🎓 At Faros School we believe that small achievements make a big difference!

During the autumn term, our students dedicated themselves to learning Greek, English and digital skills, showing incredible commitment every step of the way 🎉

🏅 At our graduation ceremony students received certificates of participation and gifts in recognition of their hard work, while our CEO, Patricia Kirk, and our National Director, Georgia Milka, shared inspiring words about how knowledge and community can build confidence and create new opportunities.

Congratulations to all our students! We are so proud of you! 🥳
