On 22–23 October 2026, the HETiA and the University of Ioannina, Greece will co-organise the 5th Emerging Tech Conference – Edge Intelligence (ETCEI 2026) at the “Karolos Papoulias” Conference Centre in Ioannina.

Held in the framework of the Hellenic Chips Competence Centre - HCCC, ETCEI 2026 will bring together academia, research and industry to explore the latest developments shaping the future of edge intelligence, microelectronics and emerging technologies.

The conference will focus on four key thematic areas:

Greek High-Tech Business Delegation to Brussels and imec Leuven

The Hellenic Chips Competence Centre - HCCC, in collaboration with the HETiA, organized a Greek Business & Investment Delegation to Brussels and imec Leuven on 10–11 September 2026, bringing together Greek high-tech companies, research organizations, startups and innovation stakeholders.

The mission focused on strengthening the international presence of the Greek semiconductor and deep-tech ecosystem, fostering connections with European institutions and technology leaders, and exploring new opportunities for research collaboration, technology transfer, investment and business development.

The visit to imec enabled participating organizations to engage with one of Europe’s leading semiconductor R&D centers and explore potential areas for future cooperation and joint initiatives.

The mission marked another step toward strengthening Greece’s high-tech ecosystem and expanding its connections across Europe.
