what we do:
Currently there are thousands of minors with refugee backgrounds or other difficulties suffering from mental disorder and/or physiological illness, living in danger in Greece. They are living in shelters, camps or squats, with minimal care and aid possibilities.
A main objective of this project is to provide psychological support to these minors, their social environment (parents or other responsible organisations) and the involved volunteers. The focus is on addressing cases of mental retardation, disorders of psychological development, such as pervasive developmental disorders (autism spectrum disorders, etc.) and chromosomal abnormalities (Down syndrome, etc.).
A second part of the project is supporting an environmentally conscious and resource orientated lifestyle by organising workshops and offering coaching in cooperation with other organisations, squats or camps.
