The Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce strives for the enhancement of the Greek - Spanish Business and Cultural relations. The Chamber pursues its mission through the organization of networking events and the development of working groups covering key business and cultural sectors, bringing together people from both communities. NETWORKING CULTURAL EVENT | FRIDA KAHLO

Last week, the Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce organized an exclusive networking and cultural experience for Chamber members through a guided visit to exhibition “Frida Kahlo | Beyond the Icon” at Hellenic Cosmos.

As part of the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful experiences for its members, the event offered an opportunity to connect beyond traditional business settings and engage with a unique experience where art, technology, storytelling, and emotion came together.

More than a traditional exhibition, Frida Kahlo | Beyond the Icon invites visitors into the world of one of the most influential artists of modern history through immersive technology and multidimensional storytelling, presenting Frida Kahlo’s life, resilience, artistic legacy, and revolutionary spirit in a powerful and memorable way.

Initiatives such as these reflect the Chamber’s belief that strong business communities are built not only through commercial activity and professional dialogue, but also through shared cultural experiences that strengthen human connection and inspire new perspectives.

ES-GR WATER BUSINESS FORUM ATHENS 2026

We had the pleasure of attending the Technical Seminar: Water Business Forum Athens 2026, an important initiative promoting cooperation and knowledge exchange between Greek and Spanish companies and institutions operating in the water sector.

Water sustainability, infrastructure, technological innovation, and efficient resource management continue to become increasingly important priorities worldwide, making collaboration and the exchange of expertise essential for addressing future challenges and creating new opportunities.

The Forum served as an important meeting point where professionals, companies, and institutions had the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss current developments, and explore future cooperation opportunities between Greece and Spain.

We would like to warmly congratulate Jorge Andreu, Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Greece and his team, together with ICEX Spain Trade & Investment, together with, for the outstanding organization and for creating a valuable platform that promotes sustainability, innovation, and business cooperation.

On 15 May 2026, the Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce had the honor of participating as an official supporter of the ESG SHIPPING AWARDS 2026, supporting an important initiative dedicated to recognizing excellence in ESG and sustainable practices across the global maritime industry.

Held during the International Ceremony & Gala Dinner at Asteria DOMUS, the event brought together distinguished leaders, professionals, innovators, and stakeholders from across the shipping ecosystem to celebrate achievements that are shaping the future of maritime transport through sustainability, responsibility, and innovation.

Celebrating stronger connectivity ATH-MAD

The Hellenic-Spanish Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of attending a magnificent evening organized by Athens International Airport and Iberia.

Under the theme "Where Athens Meets Spain and Beyond", the event celebrated the launch of the new daily flight between Athens and Madrid. Strengthening direct air connectivity is a fundamental pillar for boosting tourism, cultural exchange, and the growth of trade and investment relations between Greece and Spain.

A highly insightful business event by the Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce on the evolving tax policy landscape and economic outlook in Greece.

Our members had the opportunity to gain valuable insights from Chryssa Miliou, Secretary General for Tax Policy, regarding current reforms, key priorities for 2026, advance tax rulings, and the importance of tax stability and legal certainty for the business community.

The discussion also highlighted the broader bilateral economic framework between Greece and Spain, fostering meaningful dialogue around future cooperation and institutional exchange.

A focused and forward-looking dialogue brought together members of the Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce, the Sustainable Energy, Environment and Climate Change Committee, and the Secretary General of Energy and Minerals, Despoina Paliarouta.

The discussion highlighted the strong Greece–Spain alignment across institutions and the corporate energy ecosystem, as well as a shared commitment to advance targeted initiatives that will further strengthen the bilateral energy corridor.

The Committee will continue to play an active role in driving these priorities, in close coordination with government stakeholders.

Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce | Annual New Year Event (Κοπή Πίτας)

The Hellenic-Spanish Chamber of Commerce held its annual Κοπή Πίτας, bringing together members, partners, and institutional representatives to mark the beginning of the new year in a spirit of connection and shared purpose.

We were honored by the presence of Ambassador of Spain Jorge Domecq, as well as Zoe Rapti, Deputy Minister of Development of the Hellenic Republic, whose participation highlights the importance of strengthening bilateral engagement.

The event reflected not only the strength of the Chamber’s network, but also the positive momentum and collaborative spirit that will guide our activities in the year ahead.
