With temperatures rising, we wanted to share some helpful seasonal tips to keep your beloved pets happy and healthy. A few simple precautions can make all the difference!
Rabbits are most comfortable at temperatures between 10-20°C. When it gets warmer, things can become challenging for them — especially if they're in direct sunlight.
Signs your rabbit may be too warm:
• Breathing more quickly than usual
• Appearing tired or weak
• Wetness around the mouth
Simple ways to help your bunny stay cool:
🌿 Move their enclosure into the shade — indoors is often best on very hot days
💨 Make sure there's good airflow around them
💧 Provide fresh, cool water in multiple bowls at all times
🌡️ Try to keep their environment below 23°C

Warmer weather also brings an increased risk of flystrike for rabbits, particularly those in outdoor runs. This is a serious condition, but it can be prevented with good care and attention.
What you can do:
✅ Check your rabbit thoroughly every day
✅ Keep their living area clean and dry at all times
