This is what the Greek team said:
🌿 “This experience was very inspiring and meaningful for me, both personally and professionally. The “A Wearness” project gave me the opportunity to explore sustainable fashion from a different perspective, combining creativity, environmental awareness and education. I particularly appreciated the exchange of ideas and practices with people from different countries and backgrounds. It encouraged me to reflect on my own practices and gave me new ideas that I can bring back to my school and share with my students. Overall, it was a valuable experience that strengthened my motivation to promote sustainability, creativity and responsible choices through education.”

🌿 Olive T.R.E.E.S. 🫒| APV: Day 2 | Discovering the place, preparing the experience!

Our second day of the Advanced Planning Visit was all about discovering the places, people and experiences that will make the “Olive T.R.E.E.S.” Youth Exchange special this November! ✨

We visited the field where our participants will experience olive picking, getting a first-hand look at where the heart of the project will take place. 🫒🌳

We then travelled to the nearby village of Koutroufa to meet a true natural landmark, an incredible 2,500-year-old olive tree! 🤯
A living connection between nature, history and the generations that came before us.🌳

From there, we continued to Moustos Lake, a Natura 2000 ecosystem, enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and made some time to connect with the sea. 🌊☀️

We also visited the olive oil factory and packaging facilities, and checked out the hotel and its surroundings where our Youth Exchange will take place. 🌿

Our final stop was Korakovouni, where we wrapped up the APV by cooking together once again, a vegetarian dinner, some pastry-making, lots of teamwork and even more good moments. 👩‍🍳🥧🤝

And just like that, our APV came to an end… but “Olive T.R.E.E.S.” is only beginning now! 🌱🫒

See you all in November! 🇪🇺

🌿 Olive T.R.E.E.S. 🫒 | APV: Day 1 | Getting ready for the adventure!

Our Advanced Planning Visit for "Olive T.R.E.E.S." Youth Exchange took place last week in Korakovouni, Arcadia, Greece and we are super excited to share with you this experience! 🇬🇷🌍

We started with a warm welcome dinner on the arrival day, bringing everyone together around the same table…the first step towards creating the team spirit that will accompany us throughout the Youth Exchange. 🤝✨

Day 1 was all about preparation: we went through the programme, group responsibilities, rules, sleeping arrangements, follow-up activities, reimbursement procedures and everything participants need to know, including how to prepare their groups for November! 📝🌱

In the afternoon, we explored the local area, visited olive trees and chickens, and discovered the Museum of School Life of Korakovouni. 📚🏡
A big thank you to the local association AEEΣ Κορακοβουνίου Αρκαδίας-Κορακοβουνίου-Αρκαδίας and to Yanna Tetorou for the warm welcome and the wonderful guided tour! ❤️

And of course, no team meeting is complete without cooking together! 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳
We ended the day by preparing and sharing a delicious vegetarian dinner together, as always! 🌿🍽️

The November adventure is getting closer… and we’re getting ready! 🫒🌍

🧤 World Cleanup Day!

Good vibes, teamwork & a cleaner world! 💙

On this day, we do our own throwback to when we rolled up our sleeves, grabbed our gloves and turned a beach clean-up into a day of action, laughs and making a difference. ✨

During the “Blue Youth” Youth Exchange, our local beach became 16.3kg cleaner! 🙌

One beach. Many hands. One planet. 🌍

Sustainability is a long-term commitment for us, and we’re proud to keep supporting initiatives that make a positive impact on our environment and our community. 🌱

Α bit of a glimpse of what happened during the “Eco-FacilitAction” Training Course, on 05-13 May 2026 in Vilaboa, Galicia, Spain by Ticket2Europe.

This is what the Greek team said:
🌿“The combination of environmental education, non-formal learning, and practical facilitation in the natural setting of Vilaboa allowed me to connect with nature, reflect on sustainability, and improve my group facilitation skills. The supportive atmosphere created by the trainers, along with the intercultural dialogue among participants from all over Europe, made this project an invaluable learning journey that I will carry into my future youth work.”

🌍 12 August | International Youth Day

Today, we celebrate the energy, creativity, courage, and potential of young people everywhere. 💙

Recognized by the United Nations, International Youth Day reminds us that young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow. They are powerful voices and changemakers shaping our world today.

When youth are heard, included, and empowered, ideas become action and challenges become opportunities for meaningful change.

On this , let’s stand with young people, amplify their voices, and create the space they need to lead, innovate, and build a more inclusive and sustainable future. 🌱✨
