KCFF's Youth Platform for Change This Group consists of young energetic people who want to make a difference in their lives and in the lives of children.

The Child and Youth Platform for Change came into existence after The Kids Come First Foundation training was organized with a view to give participants the skills on alternative care discipline to overshadow corporal punishment at all levels, UN Convention on the Rights and welfare of Children/African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of Children and as well as Female Ge***al Mutilation relativ

e to early marriage and teenage pregnancy. The people that attended the training deemed it necessary to form a small group under the foundation to empower themselves and the children. The name for the group was agreed upon based on what they will engage in. The group is Coordinated by KCFF through its Youth Coordinator who is the link between the group and the foundation. Currently there is a temporary executive committee in place to stir the affairs of the group until in three months time when the proper tenure and committee shall be put in place.
