ADDAD Gambia Champions Labor Rights and Social Justice at National Tripartite ILO Reporting Session π¬π² We are proud to announce that ADDAD Gambia successfully participated in a crucial 4-day tripartite reporting session on fundamental International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions. The high level exercise was held at the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment (MOTIE), under the strategic leadership of the Director of Employment.
As a dedicated member of the Tripartite Committee, ADDAD Gambia stood alongside with Government representatives, Employers' organizations, Trade Unions, and fellow Civil Society Organizations to review and report on the Gambia's compliance with eight core international labor standards:
C29 (Forced Labour) & C105 (Abolition of Forced Labour)
C87 (Freedom of Association) & C98 (Collective Bargaining)
C100 (Equal Remuneration) and C111 (Discrimination)
C138 (Minimum Age) and C182 (Worst Forms of Child Labour)

We remain unwavering in our mission to protect vulnerable domestic workers, eliminate workplace discrimination, and advocate for decent work environments across the nation.
