FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Good day volunteers,

😭😭 😭It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Brach officers father Mr Banda That happen today at EFSTH Banjul
This is a painful loss, and we extend our deepest heartfelt condolences to Mr Banda and his family, and loved ones during difficult moment. May Allah forgive is shortcomings, grant her Jannatul Firdaus, and give the bereaved family the strength and patience to bear this great loss.

The burial will be tomorrow morning at Foni Somita village. May Allah grant her eternal rest and give the family comfort and strength. Ameen.

📢 LRR Red Cross Branch International Twinning Camp 2026

The LRR Red Cross Branch will be embarking on its annual International Twinning Camp with Ziguinchor (Senegal) 🇸🇳 and Bissau (Guinea-Bissau) 🇬🇼, under the theme: "Cross-Border Alliances."

This year's camp will be hosted in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, from 13th to 20th September 2026.

Camp Fee:D4,300.00

Our Branch Chairman is currently participating in the ongoing high-level Board Orientation Meeting organized by the IFRC Dakar Cluster.

The orientation aims to equip regional chairpersons and leaders with the knowledge, skills, and leadership capacity required to spearhead their regional affairs effectively and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the National Society within the Movement.

We extend our best wishes to him for a successful and impactful orientation, as well as a meaningful conclusion to the meeting.

As today marks a remarkable day in our movement, we reflect on the wonderful contribution of Henry Dunant in promoting humanity and making every human life valued and respected.
