On March 27, 2026, I extend my deepest thanks to UNDP for spearheading the project “Promoting Sustainable and Inclusive Peace in The Gambia Through the Holistic Empowerment of Women and Youth” a theme that truly resonates with my heart.
I am profoundly honored by the invitation from LRR RYC special thanks to Chairman of LRR RYC and Modou Lamin Sanneh Secretary to Jarra West District Youth Committee, together with our humble Chairman Of MKAC Mr. Landing B. Sanneh who did justice to the panel discussion, to participate as a key Stakeholder for Youth in a transformative one-day convergence at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Conference Hall. Humbly, I addressed over 200 participants, presenting bold joint commitments and strategies forged with stakeholders. As the Youth Honorable Member of Jarra West Constituency and Chairman of Peace Ambassadors The Gambia the nation’s leading peace institution for over two decades this platform amplified my voice beyond imagination.
Together, we took a unified stand at the convergence’s critical theme: “Promoting Resilience to Prevent Drug Abuse”, a pressing crisis for Gambian youth and stakeholders alike. Representing the West Coast and Lower River Regions robustly, gathering of over 200 participants culminated in a historic joint commitment crafted, endorsed, and initiated by both stakeholders and the youth wing.
This momentum has ignited my resolve to prioritize drug abuse awareness and prevention in my constituency, Jarra West Constituency Action Plan, driving targeted campaigns for lasting impact.
Thank You the Youth of Jarra West, we continue to raise your voice at all platforms and gatherings. Youth Voice… With the Youth for the Youth.

As the crescent moon heralds the joyous arrival of Eidul Fitr, I extend my heartfelt greetings to you all our dynamic young leaders, innovators, and future builders of our beloved community. May this blessed occasion fill your hearts with peace, your homes with laughter, and your lives with boundless prosperity.
Eid al-Fitr marks the triumph of Ramadan’s discipline, reminding us of the power of unity, resilience, and faith. As your Youth National Parliamentarian, I celebrate not just the feasting and festivities, but the unbreakable spirit of Jarra West’s youth. You’ve shown incredible strength in our shared journey standing together against challenges, championing education, entrepreneurship, and progress. Let this Eid renew our commitment to uplift one another, dream big, and transform Jarra West into a beacon of opportunity for generations to come.
