Career Guidance Session at John Pickering
Today, the 18th of April, 2026. John Pickering Upper Basic and Senior Secondary School, in partnership with Partnership in Employment, successfully hosted a highly impactful and engaging career guidance session today.
The event brought together 45 students who actively participated in a well-structured and interactive learning experience. A team of six dedicated Career Guidance Ambassadors facilitated the session, with students divided into six groups to allow for effective engagement. Each facilitator rotated across the groups, delivering six different sessions of 15 minutes each, creating a dynamic platform for insightful discussions and direct one-on-one interaction.
This rotational approach ensured that every ambassador had the opportunity to engage with all 45 students, fostering a controlled and inclusive environment where students could freely ask questions, share ideas, and receive personalized guidance on their career paths.
Both John Pickering and Partnership in Employment expressed strong satisfaction with the success of the program and reaffirmed their commitment to organizing more initiatives of this nature to help shape and guide the future careers of students.
