Earlier today , we continued our outreach visits and had the opportunity to visit ABC Upper and Senior Secondary School, where we had a meaningful discussion with the students on the establishment of APPM clubs. The session was interactive, and we were warmly welcomed by their teacher coordinator, Alieu bah

We also visited Early Impressions School, where we engaged with the school administration on the establishment of an APPM club. The administration welcomed the idea positively, and we are hopeful and looking forward to creating and developing the club within the school.

These engagements reflect growing interest and support for youth involvement in peacebuilding and leadership initiatives. We appreciate the warm receptions and remain committed to expanding APPM clubs in more schools.

Earlier today, our vice chairlady Mai Nyassi and Kebba bojang the community peace building officer visited Abuko Senior Secondary School and Collective Hands school, where they engaged both students and school administrations on the importance of peacebuilding and the role of APPM in promoting positive values among young people.

They also had a fruitful discussion with the school leadership, including the Principal of Abuko Senior Secondary School, regarding the establishment of APPM clubs within their schools.

We appreciate the warm welcome and look forward to strengthening youth participation in peace initiatives. 🕊️🤍💙

Earlier today, Peace Ambassadors The Gambia Coastal Zone conducted an intensive day long training on climate and environmental advocacy.

The training focused on building foundational knowledge of climate change and exploring practical strategies for environmental advocacy.

The link between peace and nature cannot be overstated.
Protecting the environment is a responsibility we all share, and each person can contribute in their own way.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to and for honoring our invitation as guest speakers to this important gathering!!

Our Appreciation goes to Sukuta Wansee LUBS APPM for hosting us and providing all the necessary services needed to make this event a success.

Peace Ambassadors The Gambia (Coastal Zone) took part in today's National Youth Dialogue on Irregular Migration at Ocean Bay Hotel. Big thanks to TANGO, EU GPO, and the EU Delegation to The Gambia, plus IOM, for pulling this off.

Coastal Zone Representatives at this event broke down push-pull factors, risks of the backway, and cooked up real recommendations for safe, legal paths forward. Guided by Mr. Charles Njie.
