SUBJECT: GENERAL CLEANSING EXERCISE

The leadership of Young Chakutarians Development Association in collaboration with the Technical Advisory Committee of National Youth Parliament under Illiassa Constituency and the Councilor of Farafenni Ward invites you to a General Cleansing Exercise slated for the 30th of May, 2026 at Farafenni.

This is part of our ongoing effort of strengthening resilience and advocacy on climate justice and environmental hygiene and conservation.

We therefore urged all youths, within Farafenni and illiassa constituency in particular, for a cleansing exercise that resonates with our Development agenda as a registered youth association in The Gambia.

We kindly solicit your cooperation, commitment and effective participation in this noble cause.

Date: Saturday, 30th May, 2026.

YCDA Extends Eid Greetings to Every Gambian and The World At Large.

The leadership of YCDA wishes to extend its Eid greetings to all Gambians, home and abroad and to the entire world. On this blessed occasion, may our prayers, fastings, sacrifices and supplications be answered by the creator of the entire universe (Allah).

Eid UL Fitr is a moment of blessings and mercy for the Ummah. May we celebrate it in a way that will earned the pleasure of Allah Subhanna Wa Tallah.

Ramadan is an act of blessings, and a moment of renewal to our spiritual growth and connection with our creator, and a month of mercy and forgiveness. From fasting all days to witnessing the blessed day of Eid UL Fitr, we pray to Allah to grant us a healthy body and mind so as to witness many more Ramadan and Eid and we asked Allah to increase us in Iman, Knowledge of the Dean and a steadfastness to our Dean and to HIM(Our Creator)Ameen.

Enjoy this blessed occasion of yours with your family, friends and the entire Ummah with peace and tranquility.

WE WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY EID CELEBRATION WITH PROFOUND GRATITUDE AND HUMILITY.

Mr Momodou Dibba was among the invited guest speakers during the YCDA Students' Awards Ceremony.

He is an executive member of Chaku Bantang Diaspora Network Association and has contributed immensely to the YCDA effective partnership and collaboration with Chaku Bantang Diaspora Network Association.

Mr Dibba worked in various institutions in the Gambia for 10 years, including IBAS, Central Bank and CRS; and 30 years with the United Nations, mostly in East Africa and Central Asia.

Undergraduate studies in development and accountancy at MDI and Pan-African Institute in Cameroon. Postgraduate studies in social policy, planning and NGO management at the London School of Economics.

We sincerely acknowledged your presence to a ceremony that is landmark in the history of our community.
