As part of our Annual Inter National Summer School Camp activities, we the Peace Ambassadors of The Gambia with our partners in Guinea Bissau and Senegal have hosted a Cultural Awareness and Cultural Diversity event right at the heart of Dakar. The event was embraced by all participants and marked the beginning of our journey to resurrect our forgotten culture. It was an electrifying moment for everyone and a moment where everyone reflected on our true identity as Africans and West Africans.
Our ancestors can hear me out; our history must be kept alive, and we are ready to preserve it with our soul and our world.
Peace Ambassadors, the ultimate solution, to cultivate our heritage, ourselves, our dignity, and our pride.

After an engaging and intensive session, The Peace Ambassadors visited the Senegalese monument to explore its rich historical significance and understand what it symbolizes. The experience was both enjoyable and memorable, and it will be cherished for many years to come.

Peace Ambassadors continue to educate their members on gender-related issues and election observation and monitoring, playing a vital role in shaping the next generation. Through these efforts, they promote awareness of gender equality, encourage active participation in democratic processes, and foster a culture of peace and accountability. By empowering young people with knowledge and skills, Peace Ambassadors are helping to build a more inclusive, informed, and responsible future leadership.
